Exploring and events
Gabriola Island is home to many entertaining events throughout the year. There are annual events such as the summer salmon barbeque, Concert on the Green, the Thanksgiving weekend artists studio tour and the Christmas Crafts Fair just to name a few. Then there are the weekly summer events such as Gabriola’s popular Farmers Market held every Saturday at Gabriola’s “Aggie Hall”. In between, there are the many concerts and theatrical events that occur all around the island. Of course we will be pleased to help you find an event or two for you to attend during your visit to the island.
Despite Gabriola Island’s relatively small size, there are so many different places to explore, one cannot possible experience it all with just one visit to the island. There are the usual places such as the beautiful beaches, the quiet pastoral trails through the forests and the many little gems of artists studios but there are many more.
