SIXTY YEARS at PAGE'S

In 1943, two young fishermen, Jack and Les Page, bought a fish camp in Silva Bay. All the buildings were on floats, and most of the boats were fishing boats and tugs.
On Saturday, September 17, 2005, Les's and Jack's sister, Dorothy Griffin, and their brothers, Ronald and Kenneth, dedicated a memorial plaque at Page's docks, and hosted a picnic for the Page family and island friends. Thanks, Les and Jack, for making Page's on Silva Bay a Gulf Islands tradition.

THE GABRIOLA PEACE DOVE
The Gabriola Peace Dove was first displayed in 1984 by some of our neighbours who were working for peace. At this time it is appropriate for all of us to show our support for peace and justice by displaying the ancient symbol of the dove. The Gabriola Peace Dove is made from wood scraps, painted white, and measures about 9 inches "square".
Available from Page's for a $15 donation.
Let the Gabriola Peace Dove fly near your front door.
